On a hillside in Rabun County, Georgia, surrounded by family, friends, and donkeys, two flawed, broken people made the decision to blend our families together. This is our story, for better or for worse...

So we got married in June, 2007, in the small community where my dad grew up. We had about 20 friends and family members there- most importantly, our two boys. Hub was 5 and Jackson was 3, and every anniversary since then, we have reminded them that June 23, 2007 was the day they became brothers! My sister-in-law made a beautiful cake, my sister sang, and all the kids got to run around and climb on tractors when it was over- a real family affair!
What a gret wedding! I think the small ones are the nicest....
